A cover letter is a one-page document that introduces a job seeker's work history, professional skills, and personal interest in applying for a job.

RESUME

A resume is a document created and used by a person to present their background, skills, and accomplishments.

REFERENCE LETTER

A reference letter is a positive endorsement of a person's skills and attributes, written by someone familiar with their work, character, and accomplishments.
